ABB Crane Motors IE2 IE3
Overview
Incorporating state-of-the-art technology, ABB Crane Duty Squirrel Cage Induction Motors are specially designed to service cranes and hoists. These motors have unique torque-speed characteristics, which result in rapid acceleration, causing minimum heat losses in the rotor circuit. ABB crane duty motors are robust in construction and extremely sound in electrical and mechanical design. These motors can also be used for similar applications in intermittent duty. These motors have high starting torque with low starting current and are suitable for frequent starts, stops, and reversing operations. Further, rapid acceleration is achieved by high pull-out torque/rotor inertia ratio.
